olorado company that consists of three brands - SmarterLife Fitness & Lifestyle Products, Emerald Mountain Camping Gear, and Higher Gear Automotive Accessories. We started our company when we realized that it was hard to find purposefully-made items that were good for us and good for the environment. They’re out there, but no one had brought them together into one place. So we stepped in. Our goal is to make it easy for you to find exactly what you need to live healthier, happier and smarter.
In a word, research. Our very first product, the SmarterLife Products 
SmartSport Premium Exercise Ball, was the result of hours of research into this deceptively simple piece of exercise equipment. As fitness enthusiasts, we wanted a ball that was eco-friendly, safe and strong. We discovered that the vast majority of balls didn’t meet all three requirements, so we made one. Our fitness ball has no latex, uses anti-burst technology and is one of the strongest you can buy. There are a lot of other smart things about it, and you can find out more here.
We have since introduced the SmarterLife Products SmartLite Ultra LED Headlamp and applied the same principles when we conceived and designed it. The SmartLite is the lightest, brightest headlamp available on the market. And we integrated several key design criteria learned from our research: use only one battery, multiple lighting modes, single button operation, and much more. You can learn more here.
Following our headlamp, we introduced two more offerings in our SmartSport line of Health & Fitness products. Our SmarterLife Products SmartSport Resistance Loop Bands are a perfect compliment to the exercise ball. And again, we did our homework, which revealed some very unique design elements: 3 1/4 inch width (most are 2 1/2 inch) which avoids bunching and pulling, is made of Thermoplastic Elastomer, a highly durable and elastic material that requires less energy to manufacture, produces less waste material, and is recyclable, and is free of latex, PVC, glues and phthalates, to list just a few. We also just introduced our SmarterLife Resistance Tube Bands product, which is a perfect complement to our Resistance Lop Bands. It even pairs extremely 
well with our SMarterLife Premium Exercise Ball. The set consists of 5 different bands ranging in tension levels of 5, 10, 15, 20 and 25 pounds. And by "band stacking" which is the practice of using 2 or 4 bands at a time, an advanced user could create tension levels of up to 75 pounds!
We recently introduced another product in our Health & Fitness line, the SmarterLife Products SmartSport Push Up Stand Set. And you guessed it, we did our research when we developed this product, too. Push up stands place the hands in a neutral position thus reducing strain and stress on the wrists, elbows and shoulders. But, we went one better: We added rotational action to our design which further reduces stress and engages more muscles in the arms, chest, back, and legs... not to mention fully engages your core. What else do we offer in the fitness and health areas?
No. Actually, we just launched our Travel Accessories line of products. 
Our first product is a very comfortable, extremely well designed neck pillow that is great travel of course, but also for use in the home and office. The SmarterLife Travel Neck Pillow is a wonderful accessory for taking on airplane flights, trains, or even commuting in the car, taxi or limo. And at home, it provides neck support and comfort while watching TV, reading a book, working at your computer, or of course, sleeping. Tell us about your Emerald Mountain Outfitters brand.
We launched the Emerald Mountain Outfitters brand in 2018 and it currently features a very high quality EMO Camping Hammock made of 70D Ripstop Parachute Nylon. Yes, the type of material used by paratroopers. It is a double size and comes in 2 color variations with more sizes and colors planned to be introduced later this year. We feel it is the highest quality hammock available anywhere and are thrilled with the success we have experienced in the marketplace with this product. We complemented the hammock with a set of EMO Hammock Tree Straps which can be purchased with the hammock or separately. Each strap is 20 feet
long and has 21 loops for easy set up and takedown of your hammock. We will be expanding the Emerald Mountain product line to include other outdoor adventure gear such as tents, sleeping bags and accessories.
And the new Higher Gear Products brand was just launched in 2018, as well?
Yes. We saw a need for purposely created, well constructed accessories for the automotive marketplace. Once we launched the brand, we immediately introduced a line of Car Trunk Organizers. Our flagship organizer is designed for larger vehicles and comes with many practical features including a no-slip bottom so your stuff doesn't slide all over the place in your trunk or car seat. We offer this product in 3 colors - Gray, Black and Blue. It's been a huge success for us. In 2019, we introduced a small, more compact Car Trunk Organizer for 
smaller vehicles and/or tight storage spaces. Its compact size is ideal for organizing your trunk, of course, but it also perfect to organize your home, files, junk drawer stuff, and transport groceries from the store to car and then into your fridge!
Another Higher Gear product offering is our 130 piece First Aid Kit. This product is perfect for placing in your car in case of an emergency, but also complements our SmarterLife Fitness products and Emerald Mountain Outfitters Camping & 
Outdoor products. We are planning to introduce 2 additional First Aid Kits later this year -- a smaller, 85 piece First Aid Kit that will fit in a backpack, luggage, nightstand... just about anywhere. A third First Aid Kit will include 250 pieces and is intended for institutional and business customers. It will have enough supplies to support small businesses, churches, schools and other organizations.
What else is on the drawing board?
We will continue to expand all 3 brands - SmarterLife, Emerald Mountain and Higher Gear. We won't be offering every possible product in the 3 niches, though. Rather, we will only offer products that are innovative and unique, offer improved functionality over products on the market currently, and provides significant benefits to the user. In a word, "cool" products.
